Thinking Maps®

Essentially Words, as representative for Innovative Learning Circle Pte. Ltd, offers a unique thinking tool called Thinking Maps® which is applicable across the board from the kindergarten to the school to the workplace.

This strategy has been successfully implemented in over  300 schools in the USA and is currently being carried out in 30 primary and secondary schools, and tertiary institutions in Singapore. Thinking Maps® is specially tailored to the needs of the institution.

Thinking Maps®developed by Dr David Hyerle are visual learning tools that foster and encourage life-long learning.

Based on thorough and well-accepted academic study and research, the eight Thinking Maps® correspond to eight fundamental thinking processes. They can be utilised individually or in various combinations to form a common, consistent and flexible visual language.

Essentially Words provides remedial and enrichment English language and literature and other programmes tailored specially to the needs of a particular institution or a group.
